Fluorescein Angiography

What is Fluorescein Angiography?

Fluorescein angiography is used to obtain additional information regarding the blood vessels of your retina. A dye is injected into the blood stream and multiple pictures are taken as it travels through the vessels of the eye. This dye is NOT the same dye that is used during a CT or MRI scan.
